Take 5

Stop, look, assess, control, proceed. Hazards and controls in a few taps, risk before and after, and up to 3 photos.

Stop-work alerts

A "not safe to proceed" Take 5 tells the worker to stop and alerts the site's supervisors straight away, with who, where and what.

PSI

Supervisors post pre-start information by site and shift, with photos and PDFs. Anyone who missed the meeting reads it, even with no signal.

Timesheets

Hours per cost code in quarter hours, plus plant and hour-meter hours. Supervisors approve a crew's day in one tap, or send it back with a comment.

Team

Workers sign in with company code, employee ID and a 6-digit PIN. Admins add crew and switch off contractors when they leave site.

Works with no signal

Take 5s and timesheets are kept on the phone underground and sent by themselves once there's signal again.

Speak up

Report harassment, hazards and injuries without being found out

Speak up is built so a report can't be linked back to the worker who sent it: no account, no name, and no link to their work records.

No name, email or phone number

Reports are sent without any sign-in. Even a worker who is signed in to My work sends reports through a separate connection that never carries who they are.

Kept apart from work data

Reports live in a separate system from timesheets, Take 5s and the team list. The two are never joined.

Photos cleaned on the phone

Location and camera details are removed before a photo leaves the phone. Reports record the date only, never the time.

Goes to the right people only

Each report reaches the one department that handles it. The worker gets a case code to check its progress, anonymously.

If someone is hurt or in danger, call 000 or your site emergency number first. Speak up is not an emergency service.
